In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana together with several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
