Team—

I understand you all just completed your town hall - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Previously I shared you all a note, I stated the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most motivated and talented designers we have had the chance to collaborate with - and we’re excited for that relationship to endure.”

Given your hard work and versatility, especially over the past twelve months, you continue to prove that.

The community feedback from last fall’s the game playtest was enlightening. It confirmed the promise of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had work to do. It highlighted the need for a more distinct identity.

It has been motivating to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the feedback to heart and reimagined the title with a refreshed direction - one that’s ready to fulfill its promise to our fans.

Our confidence in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To further the incredible development you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce the new hire as the new Studio Head of the team. After a period of conversations, Ben comes aboard us on the specified date.

His management and expertise in the competitive gaming field is considerable, having spent the recent years producing and leading some of the most recognizable franchises in gaming, for example the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.

I invite you all in receiving Ben soon. We are all excited to persist observing the progress of the game in the weeks to come.

The President
